There's been this whole idea for ages - my uneducated guess would be that it really lifted off in the Renaissance, when the search for scientific truth became trendy - the idea that if I can't see it, it doesn't exist. Or, maybe more importantly, if I can't see how that's going to pay my bills on time, then it doesn't exist. But the ethereal world around us seems to have the most intimate and extreme, sometimes dire effects on the physical realm. I can't say I'm an old soothsayer or anything, but it seems so incredibly apparent to me, that this other side of things is everywhere and a complete part of everything that happens, and exists - yes, including myself. And if you can take this in, I also believe that it can be seen very clearly. As clearly as the wind. So what's the path to spiritual enlightenment? Well, I can tell you that it starts with the simple act of pondering that very side of things... and simple observation.
