Scientists have discovered that there is scientific evidence that is supportive of regular meditation. In fact meditation seems to change the human brain in ways never before understood.
Research shows that meditating for even 80 minutes a week can lead to huge changes in the human brain and make you a better thinker. Just about anyone can manage 80 minutes a week. Split up over time we are talking about less than 10 minutes per day!
Research has found that meditation can not only be used as way of making us smarter and more focused but also a method of controlling pain and a way to bring more compassion to our life. It turns out that the human brain can be trained through meditation to do all of these things. The research is astouding.
This evidence will hopefully help to bring meditation to a wider audience. The acceptance of meditation by the mainstream western world could bring massive change in how we live our lives.
